With the new 3 tier system coming into action today. We decided we should give a quick update in regards to what that means for attending an appointment at the practice. As you can see from the screenshot below from The College of Podiatry, thankfully there has not been restrictions placed upon us as to who we can and can’t see.
The government has also released guidance for those who are officially shielding. If a patient has an official shielding letter and is in a high or very high area then they can still be treated but it is strongly advised this is as a home visit.
We continue review all PPE and infection control policies to maintain a high level of safety within the practice.
