What is the Onyfix® nail correction system?

The Onyfix® nail correction system from Germany, is a new and innovative product for the pain-free treatment of involuted, pincer and ingrowing toenails.

Onyfix® is a Class 1 Medical Device that is applied to your nail at its widest part. As your nail grows, it will retrain your nail back into a natural position and shape. The whole process takes from several months to a year to complete but is completely painless during application and while wearing the Onyfix® band. Instant relief can be achieved with Onyfix® without having to resort to nail surgery. Onyfix® is only available  from Podiatrists, Chiropodists and Foot Health Practitioners who have completed the appropriate training.

Who is suitable?

The Onyfix nail correction system is suitable for anybody but especially:

  • Those who have a needle phobia
  • High risk patients eg those with reduced healing capacity
  • Diabetics
  • Children
  • Those seeking an alternative to nail surgery due to cost or time.

How much does it cost?

The Onyfix® nail correction system is an add on to our standard appointments, £45 for new patients and £35 for existing patients:

£40 per toe for a full band

£20 per toe for a half band
